VideoView 1.1.0 — Windows x64 release candidate Release date: 2026-10-12 Main executable: /workspace/scratch/b036723ecd4f/VideoView/Release/App/VideoView.exe Main executable size: 179,712 bytes Installer: /workspace/scratch/b036723ecd4f/VideoView/Release/VideoView-Setup.exe Installer size: 113,090,256 bytes Portable package: /workspace/scratch/b036723ecd4f/VideoView/Release/VideoView-Portable.zip Portable package size: 113,441,881 bytes Complete source: /workspace/scratch/b036723ecd4f/VideoView/Release/VideoView-Source.zip Third-party source: /workspace/scratch/b036723ecd4f/VideoView/Release/VideoView-ThirdPartySources.zip BUILD: Release build and self-contained win-x64 publication succeeded. TESTS: 59 core logic tests passed; zero failed. Compiler: 0 warnings, 0 errors. DEPENDENCIES: .NET/Windows Desktop 10.0.12; LibVLCSharp 3.10.1; native x64 LibVLC 3.0.24 and 321 VLC plugins included. Main EXE requires adjacent files. PACKAGE CHECKS: SHA256/PE/runtime validation. See source Docs/package-verification.json for setup extraction and portable ZIP comparison against the exact payload manifest. INSTALLATION/UNINSTALLATION: Not executed. NSIS setup compiled on Linux. PLAYBACK: Published Windows startup, GUI, audible audio and GPU output are unverified. Headless Linux playback diagnostics are narrower; see Docs/PlaybackSmoke/results.json, playback-smoke.log and image-validation evidence in the source archive. Download setup and install, or extract ALL files from the portable ZIP and run VideoView/VideoView.exe. A bare VideoView.exe download alone cannot run. Per-user installation; optional Desktop/Open With; no default-player takeover. Settings use LocalAppData/VideoView and survive ordinary upgrades/uninstallation. No runtime downloads, telemetry or administrator rights are requested by VideoView. LIMITATIONS: Unsigned release candidate; no clean Windows verification. Native Windows GUI/playback, install/uninstall, Explorer forwarding and DPI tests remain. The upgrade adds multi-select/search/sort/drag reorder, recursive folder import, real metadata/cached thumbnails, mini mode/control hiding, speeds through 4x, subtitle styling and renderer/audio preferences. UI actions need Windows acceptance. No timeline frame previews; thumbnail extraction uses existing Windows cache only. External subtitle file/track selections are per-session. Portable data is per-user. All remaining gates are in Docs/QA_REPORT.md and Docs/WINDOWS_TEST_CHECKLIST.md. Source includes WPF/C# application, core assertions, synthetic test media, original icons, locked dependencies, NSIS source, Bash/PowerShell build scripts and notices. See ARTIFACTS.json for exact file sizes and SHA256SUMS.txt for release checksums.
